WOW...i just noticed yesterday and cancelled my account on line then rang up but got no joy-- after reading here i just CALMLY ran the 1-800 number and said " I WANT A REFUND"and the girl said OK.

I would f#@!ing shoot these peoplpe if i had half the chance- BASTARDS. SCUM.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU ARE A VICTIM OF RESERVATION REWARDS:

I am a college student and recently found out that I was scammed out of $250 from the company Reservation Rewards. I immediately called the customer service number a woman told me I signed up for the service. I was confused, so I looked up informtaion and called back. I got all of my money back but I am pissed because I am sure I paid unnecessary interest on my credit card. Here is what to do if you need to get your money back:

Call and demand all of the money back. They will tell you they cannot give you a full refund.
Demand to talk to someone who can give you a full refund, do not stop until they tell you they will send you the form.
Once they send you the form to get the full refund, make sure to write that you WILL PURSUE A LAWSUIT IF THEY DO NOT REFUND YOU ALL OF YOUR MONEY.

This business is awful I wish there was a unified way to go after them

I had the same problem. 12 dollars a month for 5 months before I noticed. Apparently I signed up for it after I bought movie tickets after fandango. :[ Went to the bank, had them help me, and they have agreed to return the fees and cancel whatever it is that they did.

This is unbelievable. I had a $12 charge today and I luckily caught this. I look at the comments and it goes back to a year! This company has been operating for a year with total impunity?

I called them up. Canceling the membership was so easy. I asked about refund, and that was so easy too!! Unbelievable stuff!

After I finished yelling at my daughter for overdrawing her debit account one day after I warned her balance was low, we couldn’t figure out the offending charge! Of course it is RESERVATION REWARDS 800-732-7031. The only on line charge my daughter made in months was FANDANGO. That’s consistent with this blog. She called them and we’ll see what happens.

Well I just got off the phone with the Reservation Rewards lady, very quick and simple since I had googled the scam and called in prepared.She told me the charge came from a 30 day free trial after buying movie tickets, and I simply told her I wanted the account cancelled & no future charges. I got jipped out of my $12 but oh well.

If their services were worth a darn, why are they using deceptive tactics to get people to buy them? Even if I could get some usage out of their rewards, I’d never do business with an organization that uses such shady methods to trick people into “signing up”.

My wife accidently signed up for this when we bought movie tickets on Fandango. Luckily, I caught it early because she showed me a couple for a free ticket…I went to the site and got the feeling it was one of these deals. Before I could even submit a search for “reservation rewards” into google, it came up with the suggetions “scam” lawsuit, cancel…not good signs.

scammed since 07 on a commerial account, $10 a month. purchase from jcwhitneys (car & truck parts and accessories). called my card company (visa), no help really, contacted jcwhitney, also no help but i explained my dissatisfaction and let them know i will never use them again. called reservation reward and they told me when i allegedly signed up and where. they said they'd refund the past 6 monthes, i told them if thats the best they would do then i'll see them in small claims court. i called back and the guy said i could get a full refund if i filled out a form he would email me. the form turned out to be an affidavit wanting me to say that my card use was unauthorized. i'm gonna make another call, if i dont get a refund i will file a claim in small claims court as i'm close to the companies hqs. i feel like a fool having this go unnotices for almost 3 years, but just always thought it was some sort of bank or card fee.

it's sad what this world is coming too, how can these people sleep at night? i doubt they have one legitamate customer.. how pityful. i feel bad for the people who had thier accounts overdrawn and incurred those fees too.. RR, you suck

I, too,was just going over my bank statements because I didn’t understand a $12 charge being made to my account. I could only go back to May, 09, but after reading this I can’t believe that I was so gullible and a victim of fraud to the tune of $84 that I am aware of at this time, possibly more.

I was nailed by the same scam. Even after filling out all the paperwork to end my so-called membership and requesting a refund, I continue to recieve e-mails from this company. What is it going to take to shut down these internet scam artists?
