Did you try calling the number? Yes, it probably will waste more of your time than email (though perhaps not with the complete and well-researched email you wrote), but generally I think phonecalls have a better chance of getting past the first-level support script-followers. Just do two things: 1) don't talk at all about spam unless they bring it up, because all spammers claim that their mail doesn't actually constitute spam; talk purely in terms of losing email and their SMTP server problem, 2) make it very clear that you understand the subject well, and try to get past the first-line BS filter, but often you can do that most quickly by letting them follow their script, as long as you don't accept any of the "not our problem" endpoints of that script. Tech support will almost never hang up on you, as long as you remain civil, non-abusive, and knowledgable.

To clarify something: don't start out by reiterating the answers you've given them earlier about rDNS and dynamic addresses (for example); wait until they get someone on the phone to give you those answers, and then either that person will understand the issue well enough for you to explain the problem, or they will just have repeated an engineer's explanation in which case you need to ask them to let you talk to the person with whom you can discuss those technical details.

Maybe sending an e-mail to postmaster@comcast would be worth a try? Looking up a comcast IP block in whois also gives a couple of phone numbers that with some luck might lead you to a human.

Citing spam blocking as a reason for the rejection is kind of ironic, though: http://www.spamhaus.org/sbl/listings.lasso?isp=comcast.net

http://www.rfc-ignorant.org/tools/lookup.php?domain=comcast.net
indicates that postmaster@comcast.net doesn't work. No listing for comcast.com though ... although it might well be aliased to /dev/null and/or directly forwarded to SpamCop :-/

It is november 6th, 2006 and this problem just "popped" up for me today... sending "regular" size word documents with "regular" size length names.... Don't know what is going on... Had to sign on to my googlemail account to get some VIP mail "out"

I have a comcast account myself and was trying to send it to other domains.. miscellany sets. Any clues/ or additional info on this error message?
