I posted <a href=\"http:\/\/adam.rosi-kessel.org\/weblog\/the_man\/webloyalty_aka_wli_reservations_is_a_scam.html\">this blog entry<\/a> in December 2004 when I discovered that I was automatically signed up for a $10\/month service that had no plausible benefit for me, without having ever entered my email address or credit card information to the service. Since then, I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve posted about <a href=\"http:\/\/adam.rosi-kessel.org\/weblog\/the_man\/webloyalty_call_center_reps.html\">comments left by Webloyalty call center reps<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/adam.rosi-kessel.org\/weblog\/the_man\/webloyalty_and_marketworks.html\">the switch to opt-in for Marketworks merchants<\/a>. My original entry has also proved to be the most popular page on this blog, receiving over 55,000 hits to date and nearly 1,500 comments.<\/p>\n<p>Today, I opened the newspaper to discover that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boston.com\/news\/local\/massachusetts\/articles\/2006\/09\/12\/lawsuit_claims_consumer_fraud_by_marketing_company?p1=MEWell_Pos3\">Webloyalty and Fandago.com have been sued in Federal Court in Massachusetts<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a copy of the <a href=\"\/weblog\/pdf\/webloyalty_complaint.pdf\">complaint<\/a>.
