It was the longest time we&#8217;ve ever left our one year old daughter Esther&#8212;just over twelve hours with my parents. Remarkably, she survived, and didn&#8217;t even miss us. <\/p>\n<p> Every time I go to Montreal I&#8217;m reminded of just how much <em>better<\/em> Canada is. <\/p>\n<p> For example, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.senzala.com\">Senzala<\/a>, a Brazilian breakfast place in Mile End, served the most delicious gourmet poached eggs (pictured here with Rachele): <\/p>\n<p> <a href=\"http:\/\/images.rosi-kessel.org\/big_montreal_breakfast.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/images.rosi-kessel.org\/montreal_breakfast.jpg\"><\/a> <\/p>\n<p> We also had a great time visiting the <a href=\"http:\/\/www2.ville.montreal.qc.ca\/jardin\/en\/menu.htm\">Botanical Garden<\/a>, a vast park that dwarfs anything Boston has to offer.
