Although everyone told me to take this class, I did not enjoy it. Lucy assigned about 60 pages of reading a night -- but class discussions often focused on "note" cases. She was incredibly difficult to follow and I don't think I ever really grasped the big picture -- in part, because her daily classes are so detail oriented. While it may be worth it to take this class in your second year, I'd absolutely advise doing it as a 3L unless you have boundless amounts of energy and motivation.

Ugh...my head hurts. Lucy is a great professor but this is a REALLY hard class. Take it only if you have to or you enjoy pain.

Tough class- I walked out almost everyday with a headache, but just as she promised, it all came together in the end and I am certainly glad that I took the class. Be prepared to READ READ READ and think alot and you'll do fine! Lucy is a great professor--I can't imagine a harder class to teach, and she did an amazing job.

This was a very hard class and I did not like the way Lucy taught it...While she is very smart and clearly understands the subject, she just can not provide a larger picture for those of us who need context to make the material accessible.
