If you have any mathematical background at all, you will find this class to be probably too simplistic and at times even a bit boring. The subjects are generally useful though, we learned how to read financial statements, evaluate companies, value stocks and bonds, and use statistics in discrimination cases...all in all very useful stuff. If you aren't good at math, don't worry. There is very little involved, there were 3 quick and easy assignments (no final, the 3rd paper was technically the final...only a 2 page paper), and the class size was small which made some discussions pretty good. This is an easy 3 credit class if you are looking for something to fill your schedule and don't want a large workload.
